Senior Engineering Scientist Soha Aslam recently presented at Dell Medical School's REAL Health AI Symposium.

Soha Aslam, a Senior Engineering Scientist with the Texas Nuclear Digital Twin Program, recently presented at the 2026 UT REAL Health AI Symposium hosted by Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin.
The presentation, “A Physics-Informed Digital Twin for Reliable Medical Isotope Supply,” showcased how digital twin technology can improve the production of medical isotopes used in cancer care. By creating a digital twin of UT Austin's TRIGA research reactor, researchers can evaluate irradiation plans before a run begins, which optimizes reactor time and supports a more reliable supply of life-saving treatments.
The research was co-authored by Soha Aslam, Benjamin Collins, William Charlton and Kevin Clarno, and reflects the Texas Nuclear Digital Twin Program's efforts to develop physics-informed digital twins that help predict and optimize the performance of nuclear systems.
The symposium brought together more than 900 industry leaders, researchers, clinicians, educators and students to explore how responsible, innovative AI use is transforming health care.
